As a club we meet all year round with a few a exceptions at the Hub in the Open University campus at 7:30 on Thursday evenings, The club is open to all ages (juniors accompanied by parent or guardian) and all levels of chess are catered for. You can play a friendly game or take part in one of the internal tournaments where games are graded. We also enter teams in the Bedfordshire league 1^st and 2^nd division. We play the other clubs at home and at their own venues of Bedford, Luton, Leighton Buzzard and Northampton.  The league runs from Oct through to May each year. There is also the opportunity to play county chess and other national competitions.
